The Xbox 360 version was released on August 27, 2008 via Xbox Live Arcade as part of the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade. Downloadable Content is extra content not currently included with the game and is available for download from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, PlayStation Network, and Steam. So far, five downloadable packs have been released, the King Pack, Necromantic Pack, Pink Knight Pack, Legend of the Blacksmith Pack, and lastly, the Can't Stop Crying Pack. The PS3/PC versions of Castle Crashers are packaged.
