Parasparam is an Indian Malayalam television soap opera that was broadcast on Asianet. It was the remake of Star Plus' serial Diya Aur Baati Hum. The series premiered on 22 July 2013.[1][2] It starred Gayathri Arun and Vivek Gopan. It was produced by Ross Petals.[3] The last episode aired on 31 August 2018 with a total of 1,524 episodes becoming Malayalam's longest ran soap opera.[4][5]

Plot[edit]
Sooraj, a loving husband and self-made man, despite belonging to a middle-class family, helps and supports his ambitious wife Deepthi achieving her dreams of becoming an IPS officer becoming her strength.
Initially, she faced opposition from her in laws, but gradually passed all the hurdles and becomes an IPS officer. She stands as a support to her family as she juggles between her family responsibilities and her duty towards her society.
